Walnut Selection & Sourcing
Every exceptional gun stock begins with the careful selection of the finest wood.
We personally travel to the Caucasus regions — including Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Iran — to hand-select the finest walnut logs directly at the source.
It is not simply a matter of choosing a piece of wood, but of identifying its true potential: grain structure, density, and natural balance.
Only the pieces that meet our strict standards are selected, purchased, and brought back to Italy.
This direct approach allows us to guarantee full traceability, consistent quality, and a selection process with no compromises.
Wood Storage & Seasoning
Once they arrive in Italy, the walnut blanks are transferred to our dedicated storage facility.
Here, a crucial phase of technical preparation begins.
Each piece is precision-planed, carefully inspected using professional instruments to measure moisture levels, and brought to a consistent thickness.
The walnut blanks are then graded by quality and left to naturally season.
Proper seasoning is essential: it ensures long-term stability, optimal workability, and exceptional aesthetic appeal.
CNC Inletting and Machining
Inletting is one of the most delicate and critical stages of the entire process.
For every stock, we use state-of-the-art CNC machining centres, designed to ensure maximum precision and repeatability. Each firearm model requires a specific inletting process: we work with extremely tight tolerances to guarantee a perfect fit between the wood and the firearm action.
We provide inletting for the most popular models from leading firearm manufacturers, with the possibility of dedicated machining solutions upon request.
Every piece is individually inspected before moving on to the next stage.
The Finished Stock
The final stage is where the wood is transformed into a finished product, ready to be fitted and used.
The finishing process is entrusted to a professional stock maker, who crafts your custom stock according to your specific requirements. No detail is overlooked: sanding, oil finishing, polishing, and bespoke customizations are all carried out with the utmost care.
The result is a stock that combines aesthetics and performance, designed to last over time and enhance the character of every firearm.
