Aluminum bluing solution for small parts

Used by gunsmiths to blacken aluminium parts. Restores scratches and marred areas quickly. Colour will vary from deep gray to black depending on alloy. Aluminium Black is also great for blackening nameplates, trophies and other engraved items. Final appearance can be enhanced by applying a clear coat finish, wax or oil.

Directions (CAUTION: confine solution to area being touched-up, as it can affect existing finish). 

- clean metal parts or area to be blackened with a degreaser or denatured alcohol and rinse with cold water. 

- brighten area with fine steel wool to remove any surface oxide.

- clean again and rinse.

- apply ALUMINIUM BLACK with saturated swab. Allow to work 1 minute, rinse with cold water and wipe dry.

- polish lightly with soft, clean cloth. 

- apply gun stock wax or oil to enhance and protect the finish, allow to cure overnight for best results.
